Dr. Sweet is a practicing Chiropractor and a Master Herbalist and holds the designation of Doctor of Natural Medicine (DNM) from the World Organization of Natural Medicine Practitioners. He is currently working on a manuscript for "The Canadian Herbal Pharmacopeia".
Dr. Macnab will provide oversight to BIB on the development of analytical procedures and quality assurance programs. He will also assist in the design and conduct of multi-disciplinary, collaborative research initiatives. Dr. Macnab is an experienced pediatrician and established researcher with a postgraduate research doctorate from University College Hospital, London UK. He has extensive experience with the design, execution and analysis of clinical trials, both in the hospital and community settings with well over 100 peer reviewed scientific publications. Dr. Macnab, Scholar -in-Residence, Peter Wall Institute, University of British Columbia, is an internationally recognized educator and author who is the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in medical research, education and scholarship.
Responsible for direction relating to all financial decisions as an expert advisor to BIB's Management Team, Mr. Nakoneshny will review and recommend on budgetary issues and all financial matters, general management matters and special projects, and corporate governance structure. After a 38 year career with the Royal Bank Financial Group, he retired 2006 and brings proven business & retail lending expertise with extensive financial analytical ability.
With over 25 years experience in corporate finance focusing on the value-added agriculture industry, Jeff will add a valuable component to Management Team. He has extensive experience in agricultural and commercial finance, agri-business start-up and due diligence analysis.
Responsible for processing, quality assurance and regulatory /compliance issues, refinement of extraction processes and for on-going research and product development initiatives. She is skilled at establishing collegial and collaborative working networks in the academic and professional communities and also brings excellent analytical, organizational and managements skills. With over 25 years experience in research and planning, she has a record of identifying and accessing existing government agency programs such as the Scientific Research & Experimental Design Program, Revenue Canada; Industrial Research Assistance Program, National Research Council of Canada; Canadian Institute for Health Research; and Natural Health Products / Research, Health Canada.
Responsible for all tasks related to sourcing and securing adequate and timely supplies of botanical raw ingredients required for BIB singles and combination formulations. John will also assist in day-to-day business management of the company bringing his extensive experience in building and expanding agri-businesses. John brings over ten years of hands-on experience in the commercial-scale production of certified organic medicinal herbs. Based on his direct experience and professional knowledge base, he will identity and select quality botanical raw materials and supplies.

With over 20 years experience as a Senior Executive in sales, marketing and general management, Marg brings a record of adding value to a broad spectrum of businesses from small, privately held to dominant multi-nationals. She will continue her focus on 'results' with high integrity and a passion for strategic development by recruiting and training qualified department and sales managers and building highly qualified, cohesive and effective management teams.
